Mobile Crisis Response - Certified Peer Counselor Locations in Colville and Davenport DUTIES: The Mobile Crisis Response - Certified Peer Counselor’s primary responsibility is to support NEWACS Mobile Crisis Teams by offering “lived experience” to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis in order to promote outreach, improved engagement, and to facilitate/promote positive outcomes during crisis episodes. Help clients to locate community resources and develop a natural support network for the person in crisis. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have lived experience, defined as a current or past recipient of behavioral health services. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services required. Applicant must be eligible to become licensed with the Washington State Department of Health as an Agency Affiliated Counselor (can be obtained after hire). Good written & oral communication skills and be able to complete administrative & clinical records. Abstract of driving record for past three years required. Satisfactory criminal history backgrounds check results are a condition of employment. BENEFITS: Annual salary starting at $53,720 based on qualifications and experience.
