There’s a plethora of things to do for New Year’s Eve

It’s starting to feel more like 2019 with 2023 on the horizon. Unlike New Year’s Eve 2020, which was put on ice due to COVID, and 2021, in which options were limited, there’s plenty of fun possibilities for revelers, who look forward to ringing in the New Year.

There are a number of types of magicians and it seems as if each sort of prestidigitator will be on hand Monday at the First Interstate Center for the Arts. The Illusionists, a touring magic production which features a rotating cast of five to eight magicians, will perform. Each entertainer specializes in specific branches of magic, from stage illusions and mind reading to escapology to comedic magic.

Game On: 2023 looks to be a stacked year for video games

The Game Awards took place on Dec. 8. It was about what you’d expect – various musical performances and appearances from celebrities who hold no relevance to video games, smarmy suits, meandering speeches and of course, this year’s story-driven third-person action-adventure led the way with 11 nominations and six awards.

LeAnn Rimes concert at Northern Quest pushed back to April due to vocal cord injury
